Hola!!! Qué tal estáis??

Yo muuuuuuuy requetebien!!! Estoy taaaaan contenta. Ayer ha sido la presentación en sociedad de mi segundo libro, «Yo sí que cocino». Os voy a contar un poquito cómo ha sido porque quiero compartir con vosotros la mañana tan bonita que he pasado.

La presentación ha sido en el Herbolario Navarro, está en la c/ Fuencarral 138. Ayer, por cierto, abrieron otro en la calle Alcalá 19, desde aquí les deseo muchísima suerte!! Seguro que les va fenomenal porque hacen muy buen trabajo. He decidido este herbolario porque aunque la compra también la hago en grandes superficies, los sitios pequeños me gustan más, mucho más! Este herbolario además de ser muy bonito, la gente que trabaja en él es muy amable. Pero sobre todo lo elegí porque son valencianos, como mi marido Luis y se que a él esto le hace muchísima ilusión!!  Y claro, lo que a él le gusta, a mí también!!!

Cuando llegué ya estaba Lluís Penyafort preparando algunas de las recetas del libro, entre ellas hizo el guacamole, el arroz con setas de shiitake y las croquetas de mijo.

Mientras Lluís preparaba la comida, pusimos un picoteo de cosas ricas ricas que se pueden encontrar en un herbolario como los croissants de espelta, unos nachos riquísimos, tostadas de arroz con sésamo y alguna cosita más para hablas con las chicas de los blogs de belleza.

Estuve con ellas un buen rato, hablando tanto del libro como de la alimentación en general. Ha sido muy interesante, tanto que lo repetiría mañana mismo.

Después empezaron a llegar mis invitados. Y a partir de ahí fue todo tan bonito…

A muchos de ellos los conocéis, pero a otros no. Desde aquí les doy las gracias a todos por venir, y también se las doy a los que no han podido (entiendo que la presentación al ser a las 13:00 hs, la asistencia se le complicaba a mucha gente). Me han hecho tan tan tan tan  feliz!!!!

Empezó hablando, como normalmente en estos casos, mi editor Pablo Álvarez, y luego Luis Canut, mi marido.

Muchos se sosprenderán de que lo haya elegido a él, pero yo era lo que quería. Lo elegí porque el año pasado la presentación de mi libro la hizo Alaska. Ha sido tan bonito para mi lo que ella dijo, pero sobre todo cómo lo dijo, que nunca lo olvidaré. Nunca nadie que no me «conozca» va a superar lo que dijo ella. Cuando Pablo este año me dijo que fuera pensando en alguien para presentarlo se me vinieron a la mente muchas amigas y amigos famosos pero luego me dije «lo presentará Luis». Este libro para mí es quizás más importante que el otro, porque el otro lo escribí sin ninguna pretensión pero este… éste es distinto. Con este no quiero decepcionar a quien me sigue y me encantaría que la gente que se lo compre disfrute de las recetas con mucho amor. Por eso quise que esta presentación fuese familiar de verdad.

Cuando me dieron la palabra, poco me quedaba por decir, simplemente, conté cómo está estructurado el libro (cosa que haré en el siguiente post) y les dije a todos que les quería mucho!!!

Ha sido un día muy especial. Antes de irme a trabajar, quiero darle las gracias a todo el equipo de The Gallery Room, porque lo han organizado todo de maravilla. Han hecho más «de lo que aparecía en contrato». Gracias a todos de verdad. Pero sobre todo a Alicia Hernández. Alicia es de esas personas que cuando se nace  tenía que ser obligatorio conocer. Estar a su lado es lo más. Es tan divertida, ocurrente, tan tan generosa, lista, trabajadora… podría estar toda la mañana diciendo maravillas de ella porque se las merece. Gracias Ali, te quiero, muñeca!!! También quiero mandarle un besazo gigante a mi amiga Amelia Bono, que no ha podido venir porque estaba trabajando, pero para mí como si estuviera, y a mi familia entera. Y a ti, marido mío, que eres mi todo, gracias por seguir aguantándome después de diez años.

    Enhorabuena Patricia!!! Por el libro y por todo tu ser. A mis 24 años recién cumplidos has sido la causante de mi afición por la nutrición, ojalá lo hubiera descubierto con 18 años cuando tuve que elegir carrera jajaja!! Pero mejor tarde que nunca, además de hobbie es algo maravilloso también!
    Tengo tu primer libro ya leído, pero hasta que no lo interiorice más no me voy a comprar Yo si que cocino, pasito a pasito.
    Desprendes una luz tremenda y un amor gigante hacia tu marido.

    no me cabe duda que este libro será un éxito, igual que el primero. Espero que dentro de un tiempo prudencial, en el que todos nos volveremos cocineros magníficos de tus recetas (yo ya estoy en ello), haya otro libro mas y mas y mas! Eres genial!     Llorandito me tienes! Todo lo bueno que dices de tu familia y amigos es perfectamente aplicable a ti.Eres increible, te sigo dsde hace mucho y te conoci en la consulta, y al igual que a tu marido, a mi me fueron genial las pautas que me diste, la pena es que estoy lejos y no pude seguir con las visitas pero afirmo a todo el que quiera leerlo, que tu metodo funciona y que estas llena de luz.
    Muchisima suerte con tu nuevo libro (aunque note va a hacer falta) .Yo lo tengo encargado y lo espero como agua de Mayo : ).

    He pedido tu primer libro en una libreria suiza, creo que está a punto de llegarme a casa y el segundo tambien lo he pedido pero parce que aun no lo encuentran. Me ha costado un ojo, pero estoy convencida de que ha sido un dinero bien invertido!

    Hola Patricia! La enhorabuena por tus libros. Yo, los compré ambos un viernes por la tarde y el sábado por la mañana ya estaba cambiando de hábitos. Llevo mes y medio comiendo según tus recomendaciones y recetas y estoy …verdaderamente encantada! Por fin unas pautas eficaces contra la retención de líquidos!!…Qué identificada me he sentido con tus palabras. Ahora, he tomado más conciencia de lo que como y soy mucho más cuidadosa con cada cosa que entra en mi cuerpo. Me siento muchísimo mejor y sin pasar nada de hambre! Genial!

    ¡Hola de nuevo Patricia!
    Una de las dudas que tengo en cuanto a algunas recetas del libro, es respecto a las semillas que se incluyen en muchas de ellas, ¿se echan las semillas sin triturar? ¿así tal cual?
    En una ocasión te propuse que si te venía bien nos podías hablar sobre los complementos alimenticios, esta vez te propongo un post sobre qué hierbas aromáticas le van bien a según qué alimentos. No sé, a las legumbres tal especia, al arroz le van bien los picantes o dulces como tal y tal…¿Cómo me explico, eh? 🙂

    Hola Patricia. Tengo una duda sobre las semillas de chía. Las he comprado pero viene que o bien se trituran o bien se dejan en remojo unos 15 minutos que es lo que yo he hecho. El caso es que se forma un gel que no sé muy bien si hay que colar o no. Lo digo porque he visto uno de los desayunos de tu amiga Amelia Bono y veo que las semillas de chía las tiene sin molero o quizá las ha puesto a remojo y quitado la gelatina….no sé. Qué cantidad se recomienda al día? Una cucharadita de postre, de cafe….?

      Hola María, precisamente » eso gelatinoso » es lo bueno para evitar el estreñimiento. Yo las como sin triturar o trituradas, depende de lo que me apetezca. Con una cucharadita de café es suficiente.

    Hola Patricia, ya tengo tu segundo libro y me encanta, no se si te acuerdas, soy la que te comentó lo de las patatas en el horno (como si fueran fritas), he hecho un curso de nutricion online, y me gustaria si me pudieses recomendar algún libro a nivel usuario (vamos entendible) sobre la nutrición, la enzima prodigiosa también la he leido, pero quisiera saber mas, eso si entendiéndolo, ya que tengo una niña de 12 años y si ya me preocupaba de siempre ahora ni te cuento, muchas gracias por todo, eres supercercana, vamos como si te conociese de siempre, un beso grande, Mercedes
